Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) announced, today or precisely on Wednesday (2/3), flood is inundating around 20 RWs that spread in East and South Jakarta due to overflowing waters of Ciliwung River. The water level is varied, between 10-120 centimeters.

"Flood inundates some regions in East and South Jakarta," disclosed Head of Jakarta BPBD's Informatic and Handling Division, Bambang Suryaputra, Wednesday (2/3).
He added, those 20 RWs are in eight urban villages that located in five sub-districts. With details, in East Jakarta, flood hit two sub-districts, namely Kramat Jati (10-120 centimeters) and Jatinegara (30-120 centimeters).

"Currently flood at some points is being suctioned using pump. Evidently, it recedes gradually," he said.
