Jakarta Vice Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat hoped, Jakartans to be more vigilant against dengue fever virus in Jakarta. The headman and RT/RW should be concerned about the surrounding environment.

I want you to clean up your house, unused bottles and then buried in the ground

"I want you to clean up your house, unused bottles and then buried in the ground," he stated, at City Hall, Friday (2/5).

According to him, to be free from dengue fever, do not wait for the government action but starting from ourselves.

School Must Run Anti-Mosquito Campaign

"I'm always checking and cleaning up my house as early prevention," he exclaimed.

The city administration remains alert to the people who suffers from dengue fever in the city. Even, every stakeholder in the five areas of the city are encouraged to always alert when there are people in charge of each place suffered from dengue fever. They must be recovered.

"Besides doctor, it also applies to headman, RT and RW. They have to do patrol in each house every Friday," he stressed.

Djarot hoped cooperation between citizen with city administration can minimize the case. "Like in North Jakarta, Cengkareng, the virus has attacked a lot of people. If you are active, it can be avoided," he finished.
