Jakarta Health Department asked the wiggler hunter (jumantik) in each school to be activated in an effort to maximize the prevention of dengue fever case.

"Dengue fever case is pretty high in children, I have coordinated with Education Department to activate jumantik in school," expressed Head of Jakarta Health Department, Koesmedi Priharto, Monday (2/8).

Koesmedi added, the case along January 2016 was 611 cases. The number increased to 30 percent in the same month last year. At this time, Jakarta is not yet categorized as emergency level. It would be set if the case increases twofold from two weeks earlier.

"Nevertheless, we have to overcome the empty places as early anticipation," he exclaimed.

He said, this year, there are additional 2,000 beds for class III. Several regional hospitals are still having empty beds, like Pasar Minggu and Koja.

"Hopefully, it is enough. In both hospitals, they still have empty beds," he finished.
