Only One Day, TMII Visitor Hit 30,000

TMII’s Public Relations Section recorded, more than 30,000 people flocked to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta during celebration of Chinese New Year (imlek), Monday (2/8).

Visitor number is increasing significantly, because this year’s imlek coincides with weekend holiday

According to Jeremias Petelahama, Head of TMII’s Public Relations Section, until 7 PM, the number of visitor already hit more than 30,000. It is deemed higher than the same period last year, which were only 18,000 visitors.

“Visitor number is increasing significantly, because this year’s imlek coincides with weekend holiday. This number is higher than last year,” he expressed.

Expelling PKL, Monitoring at TMII Gate Intensified

He furthered, on Saturday (2/6), the number was more than 18,000 visitors and increased up to 35,861 visitors on Sunday (2/7).

Such higher number is also due to no increase in entrance ticket. With details, every visitor will be charge Rp 10,000, motorcycle Rp 6,000 and car Rp 10,000.
