"Puddle on Jalan Semangka II begin to recede gradually after rain stopped and officer sent to check the blockage in the channel," expressed Head of Jati Pulo Urban Village, Ari Kurnia, Tuesday (2/9).

He continued, Jalan Semangka II is a basin area and prone to puddle during rainy season. Along with RW 07 and Tomang Pump House operator, his side deploys two pumps to suck up puddle maximally.

"We have asked them to operate pump until puddle receded," he stated.

He added that the handling must be carried out permanently, that is by elevating road structure. Because, pump in the field can only handle puddle temporarily.

"Hopefully, this year, Jalan Semangka could be elevated to overcome puddle and mud soon," he hoped.
