West Jakarta Administration is preparing some scenarios to anticipate puddle. Besides draining channel and emptying reservoir, the fire truck will also be alerted in citizen residential to suck up puddle.

Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Imron said water flow management is prepared to face puddle. A number of reservoirs have been emptied to accommodate water. While the sluice gate is alerted to manage water flow, thus water can be managed to hinder piling when rain poured.

"So we will accommodate water in reservoir, if the sea is receded, we will dispose it. But, if tidal wave happens, we will keep it," he expressed, Tuesday (2/9).

To face tidal wave, he would prioritize the handling of Semongol (Kalideres) and Kapuk (Cengkareng) rivers. This is because, Semogol River located on the seafront is prone to flooding and the current installation of sheet pile has not been completed.

Additionally, draining on micro and macro channel keeps being intensified.
