Public Transport Rally, Police Secured 83 Crews

Public transport rally held by taxi, angkot, and bajaj drivers refusing online-based transport was run chaotic. As many as 83 people have been secured by city police.

They already brutal since start point

City Police chief, Moechgiyarto, said the clash was caused by conventional public transport and online-based transport did not agree the agreement.

Previously, the rally should be held at two spots. In fact, demonstrators acted out of control.

Police Summoned Taxi and Online Ojek Owners

“They already brutal since start point. They did not commit with the agreement,” he said, Tuesday (3/22).

Luckily, his side was successfully control the situation and avoid more clashes.

“We have anticipated the clash well. 83 people have been secured,” he closed.
