City Ready to Provide Land for Flat Construction

Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to prepare land for low-cost flat construction built by Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing in the capital. Later on, the flat could be developed into integrated flat and joined with traditional market.

Flat in Pasar Minggu is integrated with Pasar Minggu Station

“Ground floor could be used for market, and next floor is for flat just like in Pasar Rumput and Pasar Minggu. Our revitalization concept is made like that,” said Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Jakarta Vice Governor, Wednesday (3/23).

Djarot admitted supports fully the central government plan to provide more flat in Jakarta.

“Flat in Pasar Minggu is integrated with Pasar Minggu Station. Now we must have concept before starting the construction,” he added.

Meanwhile, Ika Lestari Adji, Jakarta Head Dept. of Public Housing and Governmental Building, stated groundbreaking for those two integrated flats would be done this year.
