18,000 Multiple Budget in APBD 2014 Locked

Allegedly there is multiple budget from 18 thousand out of total 72 thousand budget lines in the 2014 city budget.

Total locked budget of 18 thousand multiple budget is Rp 1.8 trillion

"Dozens of thousands of suspected multiple budget lines have been locked, so it can not be used," said Endang Widyastuti, Jakarta Head of Financial Management Agency (BPKD) to beritajakarta.com, Thursday (4/17).

These findings are based on reports from a number of agencies or related units.

Until April, City Budget Absorption Only Reached 8 Percent

"The reports were also obtained from the discussion forum of non-governmental organizations concerning the control use of city budget. The locked multiple budget could only be used if the head of department ask for it," Endang added.

The checking against the multiple budget throughout all institutions is still ongoing.

"Total locked budget of 18 thousand multiple budget is Rp 1.8 trillion," Endang stated.

According to her, budget duplication occurs due to poor planning system in a number of relevant agencies.
