Tidung Island becomes a favorite tourist destination in the long holiday weekend. Even more than 3,000 tourists are already crossing there since Friday (3/25) yesterday.

"Most tourists go to Tidung Island as much as 93.9 percent," expressed Head of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept, Marihot Marulitua Sirait, Saturday (3/26).

According to Sirait, this long holiday, the number of tourists is increasing significantly compared to last week. "We continue to control ship and monitor its pessenger to create safey and convenience situation," he stated.

He added, the officer is also placed in each dock. His side also cooperates with related unit, such as police and Satpol PP.

From the data, the number of tourists yesterday from Kaliadem Dock, Penjaringan, North jakarta were 3,015 people with 22 water taxis and 4 ships belong to Transportation Sub-dept.
