Flood that overflowed from Ciliwung River also inundates a densely populated area at RW 01 and 02, Cawang, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, at around 1 AM until this afternoon.
Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, citizen residential in both RWs are still inundated with water level 50-150 cm. Until now, citizen remain stay in their homes.
Overflowing Water of Ciliwung Inundates 41 RWsAs experienced by Imam Subonggo (52), a citizen of RT 08/01 disclosed, water level in his house reached 1.5 m high. Until 10 AM, it has not been receded.
"Ciliwung River was overflowed at 1 AM. And hit my house at around 3 AM. All citizens are still staying at their homes," he told, Saturday (4/2).
He mentions, flood at RW 01 Cawang, inundating residential in five RTs (RT 04, 05, 06, 07 and 08) and RW 02, flood inundates 3 RTs (RT 10, 11 and 12) with water level 50-150 cm. Locals had the information at Friday night thus they do preparation earlier.
