City to Seal C Island

Jakarta Dept. of City Spatial Planning has delivered warning letter (SP) to C island developer. The island is a reclamation result last year. Buildings on the island have been sealed, and the island to be sealed this week.

Iswan Ahmadi, Jakarta Head Dept. of City Spatial Planning, said SP1 has been delivered on June 8, 2015. Next warning letters up to sealing have been also completed last year.

“We have delivered warning up to demolition letter since June 8, 2015 ago,” he said, Wednesday (4/6).

City to Relocate Fisherman

According to him, his side plans to seal the location this week. Buildings on C island have no building permit. Jakarta Provincial Government only gives reclamation license, not for buildings. Eight islands already have the reclamation license such as C, D, E, F, G, H, I, and K island. There are 17 islands to be constructed in northern Jakarta area.
