City to Relocate Fisherman

Talk about fisherman, we will relocate them to a place in Seribu Islands

The city administration has prepared relocation plan for fishermen in Muara Angke, North Jakarta due to the impact of reclamation Jakarta bay.

"Talk about fisherman, we will relocate them to a place in Seribu Islands," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, when he opened an event of Musrenbang at municipal level, West Jakarta, Monday (4/4).

Basuki Is Happy Fisherman Sued Reclamation

Basuki disclosed that the fisherman nowadays can no longer get results from fishing in Jakarta bay. Therefore, they relocated to another location.

"We relocate them to be able to re-find fish that can be sold to the people," he stated.
