Homestay in Seribu Islands Must Have Building Permit

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat asks all owners and managers of homestay in Seribu Islands to immediately report its homestay building permit (IMB) to the city administration.

According to him, whole building in the capital must be compliance with the permit. It also applies to Seribu Islands.

"Just report to us your homestay status now. Including its building permit. We should not be selective to anyone," he disclosed, at City Hall, Monday (4/11).

Many Unlicensed Homestay Found in Pramuka Island

Every homestay that had already built in the island, he explained, its permit will be simplified. This way was taken to support any kind of business that absorb worker.

"We just want the owner and the manager to obey the rules, just it," he stressed.

Previously on Thursday (3/17), Beritajakarta.com reports, there were still many homestays in Pramuka Island without permit. It was detected after the PTSP did a sudden inspection.
