Homestays in Seribu Islands Obligated to Be Certified

The Seribu Islands Administration intends to hold administration raid towards hundreds of homestays or citizen' house lodgings which are spread in some islands. 

If all is already certified, tourism business is expected could be more professional

"Homestay owners obligated to process certification or permit to the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP)," said Acting Seribu Islands Regent, Budi Utomo, Monday (7/27). 

According to Utomo, the certification is useful for moving to standardization of tourist service. Since early year, the socialization has been intensified thus all homestays could be certified. 

Tourists of Seribu Islands Appealed to Dress Politely

"If all is already certified, tourism business is expected could be more professional," he explained. 

Head of Seribu Islands Tourism Sub-Department, Irfal Guci promises his party will facilitate and simplify tour license issuance. Besides, at this time his party is also conducting observation in some inhabited tour islands.

Such observation aims to simplify the determination of standardization tour service. Ranging from catering, taxi boat, lodging until travel service. 

"With standardization of service and management, tourism sector is expected could be more professional and profitable for all sides," he closed.
