City Becomes a Pilot for E-Musrenbang

Jakarta is the first province in Indonesia that uses an electronic system for Regional Development Planning Forums (e-Musrenbang). With this system, it is expected Jakarta City Budget (APBD) could be more perfect.

This is the first time. I think e-musrenbang is very tight, thus the 2017 APBD will be the first to use a template

"This is the first time. I think e-musrenbang is very tight, thus the 2017 APBD will be the first to use a template," disclosed Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, when he opened Musrenbang at province level, at City Hall, Thursday (4/14).

Basuki stated, all of these systems, have been submitted to the Deputy of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). As planned, system will also be tested in other regencies/cities.

City Opens Musrenbang at Province Level

He added such system has been made since a year ago. First begins with the application of e-budgeting system. He assesses budgeting in the 2016 APBD is the most perfect than previous years.

"This is because it was through e-budgeting. We thank the Legislative Council (DPRD) which were willing to help in its drafting, thus it is on time than previous years," he expressed.

He hoped activities proposal through e-musrenbang could be better. He will continue to monitor proposals from the public. It has been proven when sweeping the last year's budget. "I'm not only going to see at a glance, but I evaluate one by one. Last year, I did it until midnight," he asserted.
