Congestion, A Separator to Be Installed on Jalan Kebayoran Lama

In order to minimize traffic congestion, a separator will be installed around Kebayoran Lama Market in the near future.

If there was separator in the middle of the road, there would no longer public minivan takes a shortcut by making a turn

Head of Kebayoran Lama Sub-District, Munjirin Rasyid acknowledged the public minivan usually makes a turn in front of the market and causes congestion.

“ If there was separator in the middle of the road, there would no longer public minivan take a shortcut by making a turn ,” he expressed, Monday (9/21).

Road Separator Along Jalan Sudirman will Be Dismantled

According to him, the minivans have violated the traffic rule and hamper other vehicles “Congestion usually happens at Jalan Ciputat Raya in front of market and towards Jalan Kebayoran Lama Raya,” he voiced.

He stressed despite the raid has repeatedly been intensified, but it does not give deterrent effect.

Even, his side has coordinated with South Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department to install separator. “At least, it can minimize congestion,” he finished.
