Heavy Rain, Landslide Hits Three Points in East Jakarta

Yesterday’s heavy rain has caused landslide at three points in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Each of them is at RT 02/05, RT 05/05 Cijantung and RT 11/10 Pekayon.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's observation, landslide occurred at Jalan Lebak Empang 1, RT 02/05 Cijantung and Jl MHT. The landslide's crack reached five meters with two meters high.
Similar condition is also spotted at Jalan Lebak Para, RT 05/05 Cijantung, Jalan MHT as high as five meters collapsed with 30-50 centimeters deep. While at RT 11/10 Pekayongan, also collapsed as deep as three meters in manhole cover.
Landslide Hit Jalan Inspeksi Kali Sunter in PulogadungRW 05 Cijantung Chairman, Darto said there is no casualty in the incident, because two homes at the scene are still safe.
"We hope landslide can be fixed soon. If not, Jalan MHT will be depleted and the access road can be disconnected citizens. I hope it can fix soon," he stated, Friday (4/15).
Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept, Juani Yusuf said will check the landslide further.
"We'll check the landslide soon. If it is our authority, we will fix it soon," he finished.
