Starting next week, Transjakarta bus will serve Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Bodetabek). As the initial phase, as many as 20 buses will be prepared.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah disclosed, Transjakarta operational in Bodetabek is expected private vehicle users could switch to public transport.

"Transjakarta will operate in Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi next week. We will send 20 fleets and will be added more gradually," he stated, after launching 651 new Transjakarta buses, Monday (4/18).

He added, every Transjakarta bus from the buffer zone operates in border areas. For instance, bus from Bekasi and Bogor will operate until Cawang. And from Depok until Pasar Minggu from Tangerang, bus will serve until Kalideres ror Grogol.
