Waterway on Jl Jagakarsa Raya Replaced with Box Culvert

Jakarta Water Management Dept is going to replace a collapsed decker at Jalan Jagakarsa Raya, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/20) night. The existence waterway will be replaced with a box culvert.

According to Purwanti, Head of Data and Information Unit, Jakarta Water Management Dept, to replace the waterway, his side dismantles the waterway and then replaced with box culvert using an excavator.

"Waterway debris cleaned up from the channel in order to smoothen water flow while assisted by breaker equipment from sub-dept," she expressed, Thursday (4/21).

Waterway Under Cawang Flyover must Be Normalized

To smoothen the repair, her side had to close vehicle flow in both directions ad only allow two-wheeled vehicle. While the steel plate, is installed at the location while waiting box culvert.

"Waterway is damaged because of the high water eroded by rain, and excavator is planned to arrive to the location," he finished.
