Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asserted that Jakarta Provincial Government is doing various efforts to resolve flood and inundation problems in the capital city. Besides normalizing rivers, city is also currently building a reservoir.

As reported before, Jakarta Provincial Government is targeting to build 24 new reservoirs. Among those reservoirs are Marunda Reservoir, Nusa Kencana Reservoir, Pondok Rangon Reservoir, Cilangkap Reservoir, and Rawa Kendal Reservoir.
Another Two Reservoirs to Be ConstructedAbout Kendal Reservoir, it is one of the biggest reservoirs which estimated could accommodate up to one million cubic liters of water.
