Rustam Effendi Proposed His Resignation

Rustam Effendi proposed his resignation as the Mayor of North Jakarta to Agus Suradika, Head of Jakarta Regional Employment Agency (BKD) at around 5 PM, Monday (4/25).

I received his resignation (Rustam Effendi) letter at 5 PM

"I received his resignation (Rustam Effendi) letter at 5 PM. While the Governor, perhaps he had received it before 5 AM," expressed Agus Suradika, Head of Jakarta BKD.

But he does not know the reason why he decided to resign.

He added, after resigning, he would be a regular staff. Yet he does not know where he will be placed.

"Its decision lies in Mr. Governor," he stated.

When being interviewed by Beritajakarta.com, Effendi admitted the letter was written by himself.

"Yes, it is true," he wrote via Whatsapp.
