"We'll build a dam as long as 95 km and 3.8 m high on the sea surface. Based on our data, the tidal wave high is reaching 2.65 m," disclosed Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama, when he did blusukan at East Flood Canal (KBT) Sluice Gate, Wednesday (4/27).

According to him, this year, the city administration also plans to acquire lands around riverbank from citizen residential. The flat will be prepared to relocate its citizens.

"If flood has been resolved, we can focus on traffic jam problem," he finished.
