Jakarta Officials Encouraged to Emulate Ali Sadikin's Style

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat assessed Jakarta Governor period 1966-1977, Ali Sadikin has been successful in running development. This cannot be separated by the attitude of Ali who is brave, decisive and disciplined.

Leader style is very good. Then he (Ali Sadikin) also cares to his men, it must be emulated

"I read many books, discussion of some public figures; Mr. Ali is brave, decisive and disciplined. He was directly appointed by the president. It must be emulated to develop our city," disclosed Djarot, at City Hall, Wednesday (4/27).

He furthered that he is a leader who dare to make decisions, and dare to be responsible with his decision. Thus, any decision arrived at through a process already mature.

Ali Sadikin Proposed as National Hero

Additionally, one of his properties that must be emulated is care to the subordinate. Therefore, Jakarta officials could conduct the same.

"Leader style is very good. Then he (Ali Sadikin) also cares to his men, it must be emulated," he finished.
