676 Students Missed the First Day of National Exams

Around 676 students of Junior High School (SMP) in Jakarta did not attend on the first day of national exams. This is because some were sick, taking permission and absent or without explanation. 

Most students do not attend in paper-based exam. From 999 schools, 312 out of 107,225 students are sick, 209 students are taking permission and 141 others are absent

City Department Secretary, Susie Nurhati disclosed that there are totally 143,118 students from 1,366 schools on the first day of the exam with Indonesian subject.

"Most students do not attend in paper-based exam. From 999 schools, 312 out of 107,225 students are sick, 209 students are taking permission and 141 others are absent," she told, Monday (5/9).

SMP Students Reminded to Be Optimistic in National Exam

As for the computer-based exam, from 15,405 students from 111 schools, 3 out of them are sick, 3 students are taking permission and 5 others are absent. For MTs students, from 675 students from 7 schools, 1 out of them is sick and 1 student is absent.

"While paper-based exam, 1 out of 19,813 students from 249 schools is sick," he finished.
