Row Village Project in Two RWs in East Jakarta Cancelled

The project of row village at RW 06, Munjul Urban Village, and RW 05, Pulogebang Urban Village, East Jakarta, is cancelled. For RW 06 Munjul, the row village project is cancelled because the area is assessed to be unworthy. While for RW 05 Pulogebang, the local rejected the project.

According to team member of East Jakarta Administration Row Village Project, Tonny, the Governor Regulation No. 64/2013 states that row village is designated for densely populated areas and slums only. That is why his party, after monitoring the area, crossed out RW 06 Munjul from row village project list.

“ RW 06 is slum, but it is not dense. While RW 05 Pulogebang, its residents rejected the program ,” he stated, Sunday (4/27).

Moreover, Tonny informed there are 13 RWs listed in row village program. Those RWs are RW 01 Kayumanis, RW 02 Klender, RW 02 Rawamangun, RW 04 Pulogadung, RW 05 Pulogebang, RW 06 Munjul, RW 06 and RW 09 Cipinang Besar Selatan, RW 07 Kelurahan Tengah, RW 08 Penggilingan, RW 09 Palmeriam, RW 13 Duren Sawit, and RW 15 Pisangan Timur. The total quota of beneficiaries for row village program is 1,400 households.

“The program for the two locations cancelled will be diverted to other locations,” he uttered.
