Row Village Project in West Jakarta Accelerated

The Jakarta Provincial Government keeps arranging the slums in the capital through row village program. At least 1,360 units of row village will be built this year in Cengkareng Timur and Tambora Sub-districts, West Jakarta.
The arrangement is aimed to create a clean environment
"This year, the row village program will be applied in 2 sub-districts and 5 urban villages," said Head of West Jakarta Housing and Government Buildings Sub-Department, Rohman Lizar, Tuesday (4/22).
Additionally, he stated, Jakarta government also plans to re-arrange the environment around the row village by repairing sidewalks, water channels, adding septic tank, hydrants and light fire extinguisher tools.

According to Lizar, such arrangement is a solution to arrange the densely populated area in West Jakarta. As planned, 1,360 units would be built in early June-August.
"The project is financed through City Budget (APBD). Residents should not worry, as long as your house is not in dispute, all will be fine," he stressed.
