Next Week, Folk Market in Pramuka & Panggang Islands Opened

Seribu Islands Regency Administration is about to open a folk market in densely populated areas next week. The market will offer staple food with cheap price.

"We have coordinated with Tjipinang Food Station and PD Dharma Jaya. We plan to hold the folk market to maintain price stability during Ramadhan," said Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo, Saturday (6/4).

Ahead of Eid ul Fitr, City to Folk Market in Seribu Islands

According to him, the market will be opened in Pramuka and Panggang islands. If it is possible, it will also be opened in densely populated islands such as Untung Jawa Island, etc.

He added chicken meat and beef price are not yet provided in the market but will be conducted ahead of Eid ul Fitr 1437 Hijri. The government would provide meat with good quality and locals could buy it below the market price.
