Ahead of Eid ul Fitr, City to Folk Market in Seribu Islands

Seribu Islands Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept is about to open a folk market in Seribu Islands ahead of Eid ul Fitr 1437 Hijri. The market will offer chicken meat and beef at a cheap price.

For chicken meat, we subsidy of Rp 25 Rp 25,000 per kg and beef Rp 50,000 per kg

"Seven days before Eid ul Fitr, we will open folk market for Seribu Islands residents. It will be programmed ahead of Eid ul Fitr. While for the fasting month, we have not made plans yet," said Sutrisno, Head of Seribu Islands Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept, Tuesday (5/17).

According to Sutrisno, the subsidized meat in the island is very little because it is difficult to get, thus the program's subsidized meat is held back as much as 5 tons, or increased than last year, which was only 2.5 tons.

"For chicken meat, we subsidy of Rp 25 Rp 25,000 per kg and beef Rp 50,000 per kg," he stated.

As for the information, the basic price for beef per kg is currently Rp 89,000. With a subsidy of Rp 50 thousand, residents can buy per kg at a price of Rp 39,000. As for the basic price of chicken meat per kilogram, is Rp 40,000 with subsidized by Rp 25,000, residents can buy at a price of Rp 15,000.
