City Adds 4 Sub-district Hospitals

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama launched operational of type D sub-district hospitals, Saturday (6/4). The launched type D hospitals are for Taman Sari Sub-district, Mampang, Tanjung Priok and Tanah Abang.

Basuki said the changing of sub-district community center (puskesmas) to be type D or C hospital is based on regional hospital (RSUD) condition.

Moreover, advancing sub-district community health center into public hospital will be also decrease traffic jam.

Basuki also tries to ask Jakarta citizens to participate in BPJS Kesehatan.

“If they are unable to pay the premium, city administration will pay it,” he added.
