Ahead of Ramadan, officials from the East Jakarta City Government conducted an inspection to monitor food availability and prices at Pondok Bambu Traditional Market and The Farmers Modern Market on Wednesday (2/11). The inspection was led by East Jakarta City's Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development, Fauzi.

"The products we inspected included agricultural, fishery, and livestock commodities. Thankfully, based on the inspection results, availability is guaranteed to be sufficient for the next three to four months," he said.
Taufik explained that the commodities being inspected included beef, chicken, red chilies, green chilies, shallots, garlic, rice, cooking oil, eggs, and others.
"Overall, prices remain stable. Any increases are within reasonable limits," he stated.
