2,248 Potholes in Central Jakarta Have Been Repaired

As many as 2,248 potholes in Central Jakarta have been repaired during January to February 11, 2026.

Head of Central Jakarta Public Works Sub-agency, M Soleh said those 2,248 potholes were spread in eight districts.

"The repair was handled by 103 yellow troops from eight districts and city level," he said, Friday (2/13).

He explained that repair of potholes based on reports from residents submitted through social media channels and from the results of field monitoring.

"We assign employees to cross several roads spread across eight districts when going to or coming home from the office," he explained.

According to him, the high rainfall conditions have resulted in potholes on the roads and have the potential to continue to increase.

"In fact, the patched road can become potholed again because high rainfall will erode the cold mix asphalt," he stated.
