80 Percent of AKAP Bus in Kalideres Terminal Are Unworthy

"I am disappointed with Otobus Company that exists in Kalideres Terminal. There is only 20 percent viable operation," said Elly Sinaga, Director of City Transportation System (BSTP), Directorate General of Transportation for Transportation Ministry, Monday (6/6).

Sinaga disclosed this is because the bus has various problems of physical damage, like window broken, bald tire and so on.

"It is very endangering the passenger. The bus cannot operate temporarily until they meet operational standard," he expressed.

She explains, the bus that passed road-worthiness (kir) test will be given with a sticker thus the passenger feels safety when they ride.

"This checking data result will also be given to the otobus company for standardization or bus reparation," he finished.

In overall, there are three buses stopped due to unworthy. While the other buses given to opportunity for doing reparation.
