According to Aziz, Transjakarta has implemented several breakthroughs to improve customer safety. One such initiative is the installation of cameras inside buses that can detect driver conditions, including fatigue or drowsiness.

However, Aziz assessed that the implementation of this technology is not yet evenly distributed across the fleet.
"The implementation needs to be immediately refined and applied across the fleet so that similar incidents do not recur," he said, Wednesday (2/25).
He also encouraged Transjakarta to continue improving by strengthening the monitoring system and improving the quality and readiness of drivers before going on duty.
"If a driver is unprepared, they should not be allowed to drive. Control systems must be strengthened to ensure passenger safety," he added.
Aziz expressed his concern over the recent collision between Transjakarta buses on Corridor 13. He hoped the incident would serve as a catalyst for a comprehensive evaluation and improvement of the regionally-owned transportation company.
"As a member of Commission B, I express my concern and condolences for the Transjakarta bus accident. We hope this incident will be taken seriously to prevent a recurrence," he hoped.
