Seribu Islands tourism remains a primary attraction for spending the Eid al-Fitr holiday and collective leave. Records show that 10,866 tourists visited residential and resort islands by the second day of Eid.

These high arrival rates show a great interest

He noted that tourists accessed the Seribu Islands via several main piers, including Baywalk Mall, Muara Angke, and Tanjung Pasir.

"These high arrival rates show a great interest in North Jakarta's marine tourism," he stated.

Popular residential islands like Pari, Tidung, Pramuka, and Untung Jawa continue to be the top choices.

"I encourage all visitors to keep the area clean and safe for everyone's convenience," he continued.

He noted that the rise in tourism is expected to drive local creative economy growth, particularly in the culinary, lodging, and travel services sectors.

"We encourage people to experience the Seribu Islands' natural beauty while helping to preserve the environment of this tourist area," he remarked.

Seribu Islands Satpol PP Head, Edi Syahrudi confirmed that the public security situation has stayed stable throughout the Eid break.

"In recent days, no major incidents or security disruptions have been reported. All community and visitor activities are running smoothly," he said.

He explained that each security post is staffed by about 36 joint personnel from various institutions, including the police, army, Satpol PP, Transportation Agency, medical teams, firefighters, BPBD, Scouts, and local officials.

Additionally, personnel routinely monitor the docks to manage passenger boarding and advise tourists to wear life jackets while at sea.

"With inter-agency collaboration and public cooperation, we aim for a safe and pleasant Eid holiday in Seribu Islands," he closed.
