We cover the dam with sand bag to avoid water seepage

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, the dam is only covered with sand bags as high as one meter. To avoid water seepage, these sand bags have been lined with thick plastic. So far, it is reportedly still safe.

Head of North Jakarta City Disaster Management Office, Febriyana Tambunan said that the current condition of Pantai Muara 1 Housing Complex is relatively safe and free of puddles.

"We cover the dam with sand bag to avoid water seepage," she expressed, Tuesday (6/7).

He explained the permanent reparation cannot be done for this time. This is due to the high sea water. "I hope it can already be conducted in middle of this month," she finished.
