In a letter sent to the Public Works Department, added Hartono, his party asked for sheet pile and the collapsed dam concreting. In addition, anticipating river’s water flow eroded, his party suggested that both sides of the river's road to be concreted after the normalization process, and no longer to be built parks.
"If it is built a park, it could be snatched back again. Just build road and the sheet pile should be concreted to make it stronger,” Hartono explained.
Head of RW 20, Sunter Agung, Jaya Hartanto, said that the dam has collapsed since last Sunday (6/15). This incident is worried to make the Sentiong River to overflow and the collapse is getting worse.
