As many as 127 students of SMAN 70 Jakarta in Kramat Pela Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru District, participated the population administration program held by South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency.
The students' enthusiasm was very high
Head of Kebayoran Baru District Population and Civil Registration Sector, Dwi Basuki said there are a number of main services, including electronic ID card recording for students aged 16 years, ID card printing for students aged 17 years, and activation of Digital Population Identity (IKD).
"The students' enthusiasm was very high. They felt it was helpful, as if they had to go to the urban village office after school hours, they would likely feel exhausted," he said.
All Dukcapil Staff in Kramat Pela Remain on Duty to Serve ResidentsBasuki explained 127 students were served during the six hours-service.
"In detail, 54 people recorded their electronic ID cards, 65 people activated their IKD, and eight people printed their electronic ID cards," he explained.
This activity also serves as an educational tool for students to better understand the population administration process directly.
According to him, in today's digital era, IKD activation is crucial because it has been integrated with various services, such as banking and educational assistance programs, including the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP).
Meanwhile, one of the students, Nadia Janetta Hakim, admitted the program for recording and printing ID cards at school is a very good initiative.
"Services at this school are more efficient, practical and free of charge," she admitted.
