Jakarta City Council Commission E Chairman, M. Subki presented recommendations during the deliberation of Jakarta Governor's Accountability Statement Report (LKPJ) for Fiscal Year 2025. In the education sector, the commission urged the Education Agency to expedite school accreditation upgrades and ensure the equal distribution of educational quality across all regions. They also called for stricter oversight of private schools partnering in the free school program to prevent any form of illegal levies.
Further, he emphasized the importance of addressing bullying more seriously through firm regulations, secure reporting systems, and psychological counseling for victims.

In the literacy sector, the Library and Archives Agency was encouraged to introduce innovative digital and community-based reading programs, while simultaneously expanding collaboration with the private sector to strengthen the culture of literacy.
Meanwhile, the Cultural Agency was urged to expedite museum revitalization and develop community-based cultural programs to make them more engaging, interactive, and sustainable.
In the health sector, the commission emphasized the importance of strategic steps to reduce infant mortality rates, accelerate the construction of health facilities, and strengthen integrated cross-sectoral stunting management. Improving the welfare of healthcare workers and ensuring their employment status were also highlighted.
"We're also pushing for the expansion of mental health services, including clinical psychology and teleconsultation, to address public needs, particularly among the younger generation," he added.
Then, the Youth and Sports Agency was urged to focus more on programs with direct impact, such as unemployment reduction and entrepreneurship development. Budget transparency and the provision of inclusive sports facilities were also put forward in the recommendations.
Subsequently, the Social Agency was encouraged to improve the data accuracy of social assistance recipients to ensure it is better targeted, strengthen coordination across regional government agencies, and enhance the quality of services at social welfare institutions.
Meanwhile, the Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control Agency (PPAPP) was urged to strengthen the handling of violence cases, including those in the digital space, and to enhance reproductive health education for adolescents.
Regarding the Bureau of Social Welfare, it was prompted to bolster cross-sectoral coordination in poverty alleviation and improve the quality of welfare data to ensure government programs are more accurately targeted.
"All these recommendations are aimed at improving the quality of public services and ensuring that regional government policies truly deliver a tangible impact on the welfare of the people of Jakarta," he closed.
