Ancol Dreamland recorded 73,325 visitors during the first two days of the Ascension Day long weekend, reflecting strong public enthusiasm for the holiday period.

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk Corporate Communication Manager Daniel Windriatmoko said the surge in visitors is expected to continue until the end of the long weekend on Sunday (5/17).

"On May 14, total visitors reached 42,635 people, while yesterday around 30,690 visitors visited to Ancol," he said on Saturday (5/16).

Daniel explained that Ancol is targeting a total of 110,000 visitors during the four-day holiday period. Based on field data, most visitors came from Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi, and Banten.

According to him, the beach area remains the most popular destination because it offers relatively affordable recreation options for families.

"The beach area continues to be the main attraction and visitors' favorite destination because it is the most affordable option for families," he explained.

He added that Dunia Fantasi (Dufan) and Sea World Ancol also remain popular destinations, particularly among millennials and Gen Z visitors who enjoy amusement rides and marine life education.

To attract more visitors during the long weekend, Ancol is also presenting a special program titled BioKids Color Day on May 16-17, 2026.

"This educational program is being held to commemorate International Biodiversity Day as well as awareness days for sun bears, binturongs, and turtles," he noted.

Daniel said BioKids Color Day performances can be enjoyed at 11:15 AM at the Amphitheater area in Sea World Ancol and at 2:00 PM at Taman Rumput in Samudra Ancol. Visitors can also explore Jakarta Bird Land to learn more about various bird species.

Moreover, Ancol is also offering several promotional packages, including a three-person package for visiting Dufan and a five-person package for Sea World, Samudra, Atlantis, and Jakarta Bird Land, valid through May 30, 2026.

"This package promotion is ideal for families looking to enjoy a more affordable yet exciting holiday. Complete information regarding the promotion is available on Ancol's official website," he added.

Daniel also urged visitors to purchase tickets online before arriving at the tourist destination. Visitors are also advised to bring supporting items such as umbrellas, hats, and a change of clothes to anticipate changing weather conditions.

"Visitors are advised to monitor weather updates from BMKG's official channels, follow directions from officers on duty, and help maintain cleanliness by not littering," he said.
