Traffic Around Harmoni Adjusted Due to Underground Station Construction

Traffic engineering will be implemented around Harmoni Station from May 25 to September 27, 2026, due to construction work under Jakarta MRT Phase 2A Contract Package (CP) 202.

We ask for the public's understanding and cooperation during the construction process

PT MRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary Division Head Rendy Primartantyo said Phase 2A CP202 covers the construction of underground stations at Harmoni, Sawah Besar, and Mangga Besar, along with tunnel development connecting Harmoni to Mangga Besar.

"Traffic engineering management has been prepared by PT MRT Jakarta together with Shimizu Adhi Karya Joint Venture as the contractor, in coordination with the Jakarta Transportation Agency and the Metro Jaya Police Traffic Directorate," he explained on Tuesday (5/19).

PT MRT Jakarta expressed appreciation for public support and apologized for any inconvenience caused during the construction period.

"We ask for the public's understanding and cooperation during the construction process. Road users and public transport passengers are also urged to follow traffic signs and instructions from officers on site," he added.

The traffic adjustments include:

1. Extention of Harmoni traffic engineering phase 3.2 

- Period: May 1-24, 2026

Traffic engineering phase 3.2, which was initially scheduled from January 1 to April 30, 2026, has been extended until May 24, 2026 due to several ongoing construction works, including excavation, station development, underpass canal construction, and entrance works.

To support the construction, vehicles heading toward Jalan Hasyim Ashari and Kota will use contra flow lanes on Jalan Hayam Wuruk with two lanes in operation, while traffic from Jalan Hayam Wuruk toward Monas will continue using three lanes.

2. Harmoni traffic engineering phase 4.1

- Period: May 25-September 27, 2026

Traffic engineering phase 4.1 will be implemented from May 25 to September 27, 2026 due to excavation, station construction, underpass canal work, and entrance development.

The traffic arrangements will be as follows:

a. At the Harmoni intersection, vehicles from Jalan Majapahit, Jalan Suryopranoto, and Jalan Ir H Juanda heading toward Jalan Hasyim Ashari and Kota, particularly private vehicles, will be diverted to Jalan Gajah Mada with two lanes available.

b. Jalan Gajah Mada after the Jalan Hasyim Ashari intersection, which previously operated as a two-way road, will become a one-way route toward Kota.

c. At the Harmoni intersection, vehicles heading toward Kota, particularly Transjakarta buses, will be directed to the contra flow lane on Jalan Hayam Wuruk, with one lane in operation.

d. Traffic flow on Jalan Hayam Wuruk toward Monas will remain unchanged.
