Basuki: Flats Only for Those who Have Jakarta ID Cards

Jakarta Provincial Government is going to record flat occupants using KTP. This is because Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama asserted that to occupy the flats provided by Jakarta Provincial Government, one must have Jakarta Identity Card (KTP).

According to him, the rule is applied because many people living in flats in Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta, are illegal residents. That is why Jakarta Provincial Government to take firm action to those illegal residents in flats. Such a thing is city government’s concrete step in running supervision function to minimize unruly officials who are only looking for benefits.
