City Adds Polyclinic in Flats

The cooperation between Technical Management Unit (UPT) for Dept. of Public Housing and Government Building with East Jakarta Sub-dept. of Health has provided a polyclinic facility in Komarudin flat, Cakung, East Jakarta. This is one of Jakarta Provincial Government's efforts adding facilities and infrastructures in flat.

Head Unit of Flat Management Region III, Jakarta Dept. of Public Housing and Government Building, Jefyoda Julyan, said the polyclinic will serve the flat residents' health service. It is hoped the polyclinic would serve residents in six blocks even though there is only two blocks occupied. Later on, the other four blocks would be occupied since resident relocation is still running.

The 6x8 square meters polyclinic is located in Block E basement, next to early childhood education (PAUD) and a musholla (small mosque). There are doctors and nurses who already in charge since Monday (4/28).

43 Units of Cakung Barat Flat Sealed

“There should be 600 families inside the flat totally, but only two out of six blocks have been occupied by 190 families,” Julyan said, Wednesday (4/30).

East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Health, Yudhita Endah, explained that other polyclinics are also provided in Pulogebang and Pinus Elok flat. Those are completed with doctors, nurses, and pharmacist. The doctors are taken from Cakung Community Health Center (Puskesmas).

 

"Both polyclinics in Pinus Elok and Pulogebang are already fully operated. In Komarudin flat, the polyclinic needs improvement but already serving patients," Endah explained.

Polyclinic operates every Monday - Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm. Sunday is off. But don't worry, the patients could be referenced to Cakung ICU Puskesmas. Just make a call and the officer will pick up the patients. Ambulance is also prepared as well.
