C. Jakarta Dukcapil Provides Document Services for Kebon Kosong Fire Survivors

The Central Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Sub-agency on Tuesday (6/2) opened a service post to assist fire survivors in RW 04, Kebon Kosong, Kemayoran, with their civil registration documents.

Head of the Population and Civil Registration Sector for Kemayoran Sub-district, Ismawati, said the service post was established to help residents replace civil registration documents lost in the fire, including Identity Cards (KTP), Child Identity Cards (KIA), and Family Cards (KK).

“We opened this mobile service so residents affected by the fire can replace their civil registration documents that were destroyed in the blaze,” she explained.

To support the document processing, Ismawati explained that five officers and two Fargo printing machines were deployed at the service post.

“As of 3 PM, we had processed applications for 128 ID cards. Of those, 24 ID cards have already been distributed or collected directly by fire survivors,” she noted.

She added that the civil registration service post in RW 04, Kebon Kosong, would remain open for the next several days to provide easier access to services for fire survivors.

“We will continue operating the service post based on the number of survivors submitting applications at the evacuation site,” she said.
