2,365 Pondok Pinang Residents Receive Food Aid

A total of 2,365 beneficiary families in Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama District, South Jakarta, received food aid from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs through the State Logistics Agency (Bulog). The aid was distributed at the RPTRA Pinang Indah.

Head of the Public Welfare Section of Kebayoran Lama District, Wahyuni Rahmadani, stated that the aid is allocated for two months. Each beneficiary receive two sacks of rice, totaling 20 kilograms, and four liters of cooking oil.

She explained the distribution of aid will last for four days until June 11, 2025. During this period, it is targeted that 4,730 sacks of rice and 394 cartons of cooking oil will be distributed to the beneficiaries.
She hopes that this assistance will be optimally utilized by the community, especially amidst rising prices for basic necessities. The various aid programs distributed demonstrate the government's concern in helping the community navigate the current economic situation.
"Hopefully this attention from the government can provide encouragement to the residents," she hoped.
Meanwhile, one of the beneficiaries, Ainun Samaharani, appreciated the food aid given to the residents.
"We hope that this program can continue and in the future the types of food aid distributed can be more varied, such as meat and other necessities," she hoped.
