Retaining Wall Repair on Jalan Rawamangun Muka Raya to Complete in July

The Blue Troops of the Pulo Gadung District Water Resources (SDA) Implementation Unit, East Jakarta, are repairing a retaining wall on Jalan Rawamangun Muka Raya, RT 04/14, Rawamangun Urban Village. The repairs, located near the entrance to Jakarta State University (UNJ), are targeted for completion next month.

Head of Pulogadung District SDA Unit, Didi Rusdiana said damage to the retaining wall occurs due to erosion by high water during the rainy season.

"Repairs began in early May 2026, with the deployment of eight Blue Troop personnel. The work is targeted for completion in July," he said, Friday (6/19).

Didi explained that the repaired retaining wall is approximately 23 meters long, 2.3 meters high, and approximately two meters wide. Now the work has reached approximately 30 percent progress.

Meanwhile, one of the local residents, Rahmat appreciated the unit for repairing the retaining wall.

"If the retaining wall is better and stronger, we will also feel safer and more comfortable," he admitted.
