He expressed deep concern as drug trafficking has begun targeting children through various tactics, including disguising narcotics as food products like candy.

"Our children are the nation's future generation. It is alarming to see them targeted by drug pushers. If they fall into the grip of addiction, the very future of this country is at stake," he expressed, Monday (6/29).

He warned that the addictive nature of drugs ravages the nervous system. To combat this, collective awareness from parents, educators, and the entire community is vital to cut off the supply chain of narcotics.

"Let’s unite to build a healthy, safe, and Bersinar (Drug-Free) society. I call upon every participant to be a strategic partner for the government and an agent of change, leading the way in your own neighborhoods,” he remarked.

North Jakarta National Unity and Politics Sub-agency Head, Muhammad Reza Pahlevi noted that the program is designed to build social immunity against the menace of drugs.

"With a unified understanding of these dangers, participants can safeguard their communities through early-life education," he explained.

He stated that drug trafficking has become a more complex threat, with syndicates now evolving their tactics to target young school children through food-based disguises.

Joining the session as speakers were North Jakarta BNN Head, Com. Pol. Irwan Andi Purnawirawan, and Expert Advisor to Jakarta Governor, Muhammad Hikari Ersada.

"Collaboration is essential. Kesbangpol is bridging the gap to ensure North Jakarta achieves its Bersinar status," he stated.
