Grogol Utara Urban Village Head, Syopwani highlighted that the 30-square-meter site was once a messy illegal dumping ground.
"The feedback from locals has been amazing. They are so relieved to see the area cleaned up because the neighborhood feels fresh, tidy, and—most importantly—odor-free," he expressed, Thursday (7/2).

Further, the urban village office collaborated with local community leaders to repair a damaged wall that was previously considered a safety hazard to residents.
"We reinforced the wall to ensure it is sturdy once again. Following that, we installed a vertical garden at the site," he explained.
He hoped that residents would collectively maintain the revamped area, noting that its roadside location makes it highly susceptible to vandalism and illegal dumping.
"It is a shared challenge to preserve and protect this tidy park so that it remains a lasting green asset for the community," he stated.
This work received appreciation from one of the locals, Dimas Faqih.
"The area is now beautifully organized and lush with greenery. We sincerely hope there will be no more misconduct from irresponsible individuals," he concluded.
