Jalan Kebon Kelapa I Repaved

The Matraman District Public Works Implementation Unit realized the residents' proposal through the Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) by re-asphalting Jalan Kebon Kelapa I in RT 01 to RT 04, RW 09, Utan Kayu Selatan Urban Village.

Head of the unit, Nessy Oktavia said as many as 10 Yellow Troop personnel with supporting equipment were deployed to work on paving the neighborhood road using hotmix asphalt.

"The asphalting was carried out along a 102-meter stretch with a width of 1.5 meters. The road was previously damaged due to peeling asphalt," she said, Tuesday (7/7).

Nessy hopes that the re-paving of this road will provide a greater sense of safety and comfort to residents, especially drivers.

"Even though the road is already smooth, we still remind residents not to drive at high speeds, especially since this is a neighborhood road," she appealed.

Meanwhile, Head of RW 09, Utan Kayu Selatan Urban Village, Adang Rachmat Permana appreciated the swift response of the unit in quickly realizing the community's proposal.

"The road's previous condition was quite disturbing, with many sections of asphalt peeling and potholes, making it uncomfortable for vehicles to traverse. We are very grateful for the repairs," he admitted.
