According to him, the road damage occurred gradually. Residents suspect the condition occurred during dredging of the Sunter River using heavy equipment that was parked on the side of the inspection road.
"Landslides are thought to have caused the road to crack and eventually collapse," he added.
Meanwhile, Head of Pulo Gadung Urban Village, Ariyanto explained handling of the collapsed road cannot be run yet because the authority lies with the central government through the Ciliwung Cisadane River Basin Center (BBWSCC).
"However, emergency response has been carried out by installing dolken wood by the Pulo Gadung District Water Resources (SDA) Implementation Unit together with PPSU officers to anticipate further landslides," he explained.
